Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 20, 2026

In short: Bloom keeps everything on your device. We do not collect, transmit or share any of your data. No accounts, no ads, no tracking.

Data we collect

We do not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data. Bloom has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking SDKs.

Where your data lives

Tasks, sticky notes, reminders, due dates, colours and preferences you create are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. Photos and files you attach to a sticky note are copied into that same private storage so they stay available to the note. Nothing is ever uploaded to us or to anyone else.

Backups

Bloom lets you export a JSON backup file and import it again. This only happens when you choose it, and it is handled entirely by your device's share or save dialog. Where that file goes is under your control.

Permissions

Bloom does not request access to your location, contacts or camera, and it never scans your files. If you choose to attach a photo or a file to a sticky note, the app opens the system picker and keeps only the item you selected, in its own private storage. The app does not need an internet connection to work.

Notifications

Bloom may ask for notification permission so reminders can be shown by your device. Notifications are generated locally — there is no push server, and nothing about you is transmitted. Declining the permission leaves every other feature available.

Data deletion

Because your data is only on your device, you are always in control of it. Clearing the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstalling the app, permanently deletes everything. We cannot delete or recover your data because we never have access to it.

Children's privacy

Bloom is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
